Describing flavors in words isn’t always easy. We put effort into matching our flavor descriptions to the actual taste of each coffee. To help you understand better, here’s some key information about our coffees:
Roast Level
The darker the roast, the fuller the body, the lower the acidity, and the smoother the coffee—though this isn’t always the case.
Flavors
Two or three words that we believe best capture the flavor profile. Keep in mind that extraction methods and brewing techniques can influence the actual flavors.
Acidity
This refers to the brightness or sharpness of the coffee, which can sometimes be perceived as sourness.
Body
The mouthfeel or weight of the coffee—how it feels on your palate.
Sweetness
The level of sweetness in the coffee, which doesn’t necessarily mean sugary flavor, but a sense of natural sweetness
